Wearing a new shirt from Sabaku is part of my Christmas tradition because of the beauty and uniqueness of each design. I look forward to Sue Patrick offering them each year!   • Sabaku's 2024 Christmas design was inspired by traditional Mexican Tree of Life pottery sculptures.  
  • These elaborate clay pieces are made by artisans from Izucar de Matamoros in the State of Puebla.
  • Their form imitates the silver and bronze ceremonial candelabras brought by the Spanish Friars at the time of the conquest to use in the church. 
  • They have evolved into intricate and colorful clay sculptures depicting religious stories, historic moments and Mexican folk art.
